Since the beginning of the day, 57 combat engagements between the Ukrainian Armed Forces and Russian occupants have been registered in the frontline. The biggest enemy attack is observed in the Pokrovsk sector, where the Russian army carried out 15 attacks. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the Kharkiv sector, the occupants attacked Okhrimivka, Makarove and Hraniv with guided aerial bombs. The enemy also continues shelling from artillery at settlements in Sumy, Chernihiv and Kharkiv regions.
Two combat engagements continue in the Kupiansk sector, while three previous occupants’ attacks in the vicinity of Novoosynove and Zahryzove were successfully repelled.
In the Liman sector, the enemy tried to break through Ukrainian defences near Novyi and Novomykhailivka six times. Four battles are still ongoing.
In the Toretsk sector, Russian proxies carried out ten attacks, one of which is still ongoing. Hostile air strikes were recorded in Kostiantynivka and Toretsk.
The largest number of attacks was recorded in the Pokrovsk sector today – the Russian army is trying to break through the Ukrainian defences near Nova Poltavka, Pokrovsk, Andriivka and other localities. Ukrainian troops repelled 13 attacks, two more battles are ongoing.
Fighting continues in the Huliaypillia and Orikhivsk sectors, with the enemy actively using aviation. One combat engagement was also registered in the Prydniprovsky sector.
In the Kursk sector, the Russians fired 210 artillery rounds and launched 17 guided missiles. Ukrainian troops repelled nine attacks, and two more battles are ongoing.
In other areas, the situation remains stable, with no active offensive actions by the occupiers.
