Yesterday, the Ukrainian Defence Forces once again demonstrated courage and resilience, repelling massive attacks by Russian occupants in several key areas. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the intensity of hostilities remains extremely high, particularly in the Pokrovske and Kupianske directions.
Pokrovske direction: the enemy’s greatest activity
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled a record 46 attacks in one day. The occupants tried to advance near the settlements of Mykhailivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Novotroyitske and Sukhyi Yar. However, all their attempts were in vain. Most of the clashes took place near Selydove and Promen, where Ukrainian troops stopped 22 and 9 attacks respectively. The enemy continues to use significant forces, but our soldiers are confidently holding the defence, preventing the invaders from breaking through.
Kupianske direction: the threat of a breakthrough remains
The number of combat engagements in the Kupyansk sector also increased rapidly, with 12 enemy attacks recorded, most of which were successfully repelled in the areas of Holubivka, Kolisnykivka, Lozova and Pishchane. Russian troops keep trying to advance, but Ukrainian units are effectively holding back the aggressor.
Liman sector: 20 attacks stopped
In the Liman sector, the Ukrainian Defence Forces continue to successfully repel massive occupant offensives. During the day, the enemy tried to advance in the direction of Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Yampolivka and Serebryanske forestry, but none of the attempts were successful. A total of 20 enemy attacks were repelled.
Kurakhove direction: attacks continue, but defence is strong
In the Kurakhivka sector, Russian occupants tried to break through the defensive lines of Ukrainian troops 59 times. The highest enemy activity was recorded in the areas of Kurakhivka, Hirnyk and Antonivka, where Ukrainian troops stopped all enemy attempts to advance.
Enemy attacks in other areas
In the Siverskyi sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled one attack near Ivan-Daryivka, and in the Kramatorsk sector, two enemy attempts to advance near Stupochki were stopped. At the same time, in the Orikhiv sector, occupants’ units tried to attack Ukrainian positions in the vicinity of Robotyne three times, but all their attacks were repelled.
Artillery strikes on the enemy
Ukrainian artillery continues to deliver powerful attacks on enemy positions. During the day, the missile troops and artillery of the Ukrainian Defence Forces struck four times at the places of concentration of personnel and equipment of the Russian occupiers, destroying two drone control points, one artillery system and an air defence system. Two other important enemy targets were also destroyed.
