General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Kurakhove sector remains the hottest on the frontline

Over the past day, Ukrainian troops recorded 192 combat engagements with Russian occupants, most of which took place in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove directions. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a morning report on 4 December.

In the Kurakhove sector, the enemy made 44 attempts to break through the defensive lines. The main fighting took place in the areas of Sontsivka, Zorya, Dalne, Kurakhove, Yelizavetivka and Hannivka.

Other areas of combat operations

  • Kharkiv sector: the enemy conducted six attacks in the areas of Vovchansk, Hlyboke and Kozacha Lopan.
  • In theKupiansk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 13 attacks in the areas of Lozova, Stelmakhivka, Kolisnykivka and Pershotravneve.
  • Liman sector: 9 attacks were stopped in the areas of Pershotravneve, Novoyehorivka, Hrekivka, Yampolivka and Terny.
  • Kramatorsk sector: three attacks were repelled near Stupochky, Bila Hora and Chasovyi Yar.
  • Toretsk sector: three enemy attacks were stopped near Toretsk and Nelipivka.
  • In thePokrovsk sector, defence forces repelled 44 attacks, including in the areas of Myrolyubivka, Lysivka, Promenu, Dachanske, Chumatske and Novopustyanka.
  • Vremivsk sector: 25 attacks were stopped in the areas of Kostiantynopolske, Sukhi Yaliv, Rozdolne, Makarivka and Novodarivka.
  • In theOrikhivsk sector, the enemy tried to advance four times near Robotyne, Novodanylivka and Novoandriivka.
  • Prydniprovskyi sector: Russian troops conducted seven attacks, but did not succeed.

In the Kursk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 30 attacks and recorded five air strikes involving six guided missiles.

Actions of Ukrainian artillery

Ukrainian missile forces and artillery struck three times at areas where Russian personnel and weapons were concentrated.

Ukraine’s defence forces continue to hold steadfast and inflict losses on the enemy in all areas of combat.
