Ukraine’s defence forces continue to deter the offensive of Russian troops, which conducted 207 combat engagements in different frontline areas over the past day. This is stated in the daily report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Hot situation at the frontline

The occupants were most intense in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove directions, where 104 attacks were repelled.

• Pokrovske direction: Ukrainian defenders stopped 61 enemy attacks in the areas of Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Promen and other localities. The enemy launched five air strikes with guided bombs in these areas.
• Kurakhove sector: Occupants made 43 attempts to break through in the areas of Sontsivka, Kurakhove, Yelizavetivka and Antonivka.

Areas of active hostilities

• Kharkiv sector: 12 combat engagements in the areas of Vovchansk, Tykhy and Hlyboke. Enemy aircraft dropped four guided aerial bombs on Lypky and Neskuchne.
• Kupyansk sector: 25 combat engagements in the areas of Zahryzove, Kruhlyakivka, Holubivka and others. Kupyansk was hit by three aerial bombs.
• Liman sector: Six attacks were repelled in the areas of Hrekivka, Torske and Terny. Enemy aircraft struck at Ivanivka and Serebryansky forest.
• Kramatorsk and Toretsk directions: In these areas, the enemy made five attempts to break through in each of them, but was stopped.
• Vremivsk direction: 20 attacks in the areas of Veselyi Hai, Novopil, Rozlyvky and other settlements.

Other areas

No active offensives were recorded in the Orikhivske and Huliaipil sectors, but the enemy launched a missile attack on Novooleksandrivka. In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the occupants conducted four unsuccessful offensives.

Operation in Kursk Region and Russian Aviation Actions

Ukrainian forces continue operations in the Kursk region. According to available information, the enemy independently conducted 19 air strikes on its territory, using 30 guided aerial bombs.
