Missile troops and artillery of the Ukrainian Defence Forces continue to deliver devastating strikes on the areas where Russian occupants’ personnel and equipment are concentrated. Yesterday, the Ukrainian military hit four such areas and the enemy’s artillery system, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
Russian troops conducted 184 combat engagements in various sectors of the frontline over the last day. The occupiers launched one missile and 25 air strikes, using 45 guided aerial bombs. They also carried out almost 5,000 artillery attacks, including 167 from multiple launch rocket systems. They used 1,771 kamikaze drones in the attacks.
Key areas of combat operations
In the Kharkiv sector, Ukrainian troops repelled one attack near Kozacha Lopan.
In the Kupyansk sector, 18 enemy attacks took place. Ukrainian forces repelled attacks in the areas of Holubivka, Sinkivka, Stepova Novoselivka and Zahryzove.
In the Liman sector, 23 attacks were registered. The Russians tried to break through the defences in Zelenyi Hai, Novoyehorivka, Makiivka, Terny, Zarichne, Hryhorivka and Serebryansky forest.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy tried to advance 27 times towards Chasovyi Yar and Stupochky.
In the Pokrovsk sector, the aggressor conducted 77 offensives, including the use of aircraft near a number of localities, including Baranivka, Promin, Lysivka and Slovianka.
In other areas, including Volyn, Polissia and Huliaypillia, the enemy did not conduct active offensive actions.
Ukrainian losses minimised
According to the General Staff, Ukrainian defenders are inflicting significant losses on the enemy, destroying manpower, equipment and undermining the offensive potential of the Russian army.
The situation at the front remains difficult, but under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which continue to defend every piece of their homeland.
