Russia retains a high probability of striking Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and launching new waves of medium-range ballistic missiles. This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine in response to an information request from NV.
As of mid-May, Russia had 2025 in service:
- “Iskander-M (ballistic missiles) – more than 600 units;
- “Dagger” (hypersonic) – more than 100;
- “Iskander-K (cruise missiles) – almost 300;
- X-101 – more than 300;
- “The calibre is over 400;
- X-22/32 – up to 300;
- “Onyx and Zircon have a total of about 700;
- KN-23 (North Korean) – 60 units;
- S-300P/S-400 air defense systems – about 11,000 units.
The DIU notes that Russia is actively rebuilding its arsenals. Monthly production is:
- “Iskander-M: 60-70 missiles;
- “Dagger: 10-15;
- “Iskander-K: 20-30;
- X-101: 60-70;
- “Calibre: 25-30;
- X-32: up to 10;
- “Onyx/Zircon: 20-30 together.
Analysts emphasise that the available resources and production rates allow Russia to regularly attack Ukraine’s critical infrastructure, in particular the energy sector.
