GUR: Russia has amassed hundreds of missiles and is preparing new strikes on Ukraine’s energy sector

Russia retains a high probability of striking Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and launching new waves of medium-range ballistic missiles. This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine in response to an information request from NV.

As of mid-May, Russia had 2025 in service:

  • Iskander-M (ballistic missiles) – more than 600 units;
  • “Dagger” (hypersonic) – more than 100;
  • Iskander-K (cruise missiles) – almost 300;
  • X-101more than 300;
  • The calibre is over 400;
  • X-22/32up to 300;
  • Onyx and Zircon have a total of about 700;
  • KN-23 (North Korean) – 60 units;
  • S-300P/S-400 air defense systems – about 11,000 units.

The DIU notes that Russia is actively rebuilding its arsenals. Monthly production is:

  • Iskander-M: 60-70 missiles;
  • Dagger: 10-15;
  • Iskander-K: 20-30;
  • X-101: 60-70;
  • Calibre: 25-30;
  • X-32: up to 10;
  • Onyx/Zircon: 20-30 together.

Analysts emphasise that the available resources and production rates allow Russia to regularly attack Ukraine’s critical infrastructure, in particular the energy sector.
