The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) have released more than 45 minutes of video documenting the brutal torture of civilians in Gaza by Hamas terrorists. The footage was seized during operations in Gaza conducted by the IDF and Israeli intelligence services (Shabak), the Jerusalem Post reports.
The video shows how Hamas militants used violence and torture against civilians suspected of supporting opposition sentiments or hostile actions against the ruling organisation. The footage clearly demonstrates human rights violations and systematic persecution of civilians who attempted to express dissatisfaction with the Hamas regime.
In particular, the video was recorded at Post 17 in Gaza, where violent interrogations were conducted. The footage highlights Hamas’ strategy of intimidating the local population, infringing on human rights and suppressing freedom of expression.
Israeli troops and intelligence services continue operations in Gaza to identify and destroy terrorist infrastructure. According to the military, these materials date from 2018 to 2020.
The published footage is part of Israel’s efforts to show the world the real picture of the Hamas regime, which is terrorising its own population and drawing international condemnation.
