Massive attack on Zaporizhzhia: Russians launch 16 drones, damage to houses and infrastructure

Russian troops carried out the most massive attack on Zaporizhzhia in recent times, firing 16 attack drones at the city on the night of Saturday, 1 February. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov.

According to him, the enemy attack damaged an educational institution, residential buildings and cars. A critical infrastructure facility was also damaged.

“According to updated information, Russians sent 16 drones to the city. The attack damaged an infrastructure facility, a multi-storey building and private houses. More than 400 subscribers were left without electricity,” said Fedorov.

Fortunately, according to preliminary data, there were no casualties. Utilities have already begun to deal with the consequences of the attack.

Fedorov also posted a video from the scene, showing extensive damage to buildings and cars.

Russian troops have recently significantly intensified attacks on Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure, using attack drones to cause maximum destruction.
