On the night of 15 June, Russia launched one of the most massive air attacks on Ukraine since the start of its full-scale invasion, using 194 aircraft. Defence forces destroyed 167 enemy targets, the Ukrainian Air Force reported.
The attack began around 20:00 on 14 June. The Russian army directed the main attack at the Poltava region, in particular the city of Kremenchuk. The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups and unmanned systems.

According to the military, Russia attacked Ukraine with 183 Shahed attack drones and imitation UAVs launched from the directions of Kursk, Shatalovo, Orel, Bryansk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. It also fired two Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles from the airspace of Astrakhan region, one Iskander-M ballistic missile from Kursk region, four Iskander-K cruise missiles from Rostov region, and four Kalibr missiles from the Black Sea.
The air defence forces managed to destroy 119 targets using firepower. In particular, 111 Shahed drones, two Kinzhal missiles, three Iskander-Ks and three Kalibrs were shot down. Another 48 drones lost contact or were suppressed by electronic warfare.
As a result of the attack, enemy weapons hit Kremenchuk and debris fell in six different locations. Data on damage and casualties is being updated.
