On 7 October, Kyiv was again targeted by rocket attacks. As a result of the shelling, debris fell in the Holosiivskyi and Solomianskyi districts, but preliminarily without causing casualties or significant damage. The press service of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA) reported that the situation was under control and that services were working quickly to gather information.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Air Force spotted Russian MiG-31K fighter jets taking off and firing Kinzhal air-to-ground missiles. In the morning, explosions were heard in Starokostiantyniv, Khmelnytskyi region, as missiles targeted this strategically important military airfield. Starokonstantinov is often the target of enemy attacks, which confirms the growing aggression of the enemy.
Amid these events, an air alert was declared in the Kyiv region. The authorities are urging residents to exercise caution and follow official reports. The situation remains critical, and Ukrainian forces are ready to protect the territory and the population. Citizens are hopeful that the situation will stabilise as the country continues to fight the external threat.
