On the night of 2 December, Kyiv region suffered another attack by Russian drones, which caused a fire at one of its facilities. According to the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Ruslan Kravchenko, the warehouse of an agricultural enterprise caught fire as a result of the falling debris from the downed drones.
The air alert lasted all night, with repeated announcements. Air defence forces worked effectively, shooting down several enemy targets.
“There were no direct hits to critical or residential infrastructure. There were no casualties. The fire caused by the falling debris was promptly extinguished,” Kravchenko said in a statement.
This incident is yet another example of Russia’s relentless terror targeting Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure. Air defence forces continue to protect peaceful skies, although the threat remains high.
