On the night of 27 October, Russian troops launched another attack on Kyiv using drones. The air raid lasted for almost three and a half hours, but thanks to the coordinated actions of the air defence forces, all drones were neutralised on the approaches to the city. This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA).
According to the KCIA, about a dozen hostile drones were spotted in the airspace near Kyiv, and none of them reached the capital. No damage or injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
“The attacks are carried out according to a well-established scenario: night raids, the use of Shahed/Geranium-type attack drones, and attempts to enter from different directions. The enemy avoids simultaneous massive strikes, instead attacking in single groups. This is a familiar tactic aimed at depleting our resources,” commented the KMMA.
Russia’s drone attacks on Kyiv continue, but Ukrainian air defence forces leave no chance for the enemy drones, successfully shooting them down before they get close to the city.
