Large-scale fire with ammunition detonation

On the night of 10 November, the Ukrainian Defence Forces launched a drone strike on ammunition depots in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation, which led to a large-scale fire with the detonation of ammunition. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

According to the General Staff, the target of the attack was the 1060th Logistics Centre, formerly the 120th Arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate. At least eight powerful explosions were recorded at the site, causing at least two fires. The military unit continues to burn, and there are signs of ammunition detonation.

The Russian side confirmed the fires in the Bryansk region, but did not provide details on the affected facilities. Local governor Alexander Bogomaz said that emergency services were working at the scene, but did not disclose any further information.

Ukraine stresses that its attacks on Russian territory are aimed at military infrastructure and are a response to Russia’s aggression.
