On the night of 10 November, Ukrainian air defence forces destroyed about 15 Russian drones that the enemy had sent to fire on Kyiv. The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhiy Popko, said that there were no damages or casualties in the capital.
The Russian army continues to terrorise civilian populated areas, and Kyiv remains the main target of enemy attacks. According to Popko, during the raid, air raid alerts were announced in the capital twice, for a total of almost five hours.
“Recently, the enemy has been changing the tactics of using drones, but the Ukrainian Defence Forces are successfully adapting to new challenges,” Popko said. He added that Ukrainian defenders “neutralised a dozen enemy UAVs that threatened the capital.”
Thus, despite the intense attack, Kyiv avoided casualties and destruction thanks to the effective operation of the air defence system.
