On one of the key frontline areas, Ukrainian reconnaissance men from the Black Forest artillery reconnaissance brigade conducted a successful operation to destroy a Russian short-range anti-aircraft missile system Tor-M2. This was reported by the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Grouping of troops, which released a video of the precise strike.

Thanks to the professional actions of the soldiers, they not only detected the enemy equipment, but also adjusted their fire, which led to the complete destruction of one of the key air defence assets of the Russian army.

“The destruction of such weapons significantly reduces the combat capabilities of the occupation forces for a long time,” the Operational Command noted.

The Tor-M2 system is designed to protect important military facilities from air strikes, missiles and drones. Its estimated cost is about $25 million. This is not only a serious loss for the Russian army, but also a symbolic victory for Ukrainian intelligence and artillery.
