Against the backdrop of massive attacks and shelling by the Russian occupation forces, Ukrainian defenders continue to successfully repel attacks and inflict significant losses on the enemy. Over the past day, 187 combat engagements took place on the frontline, resulting in serious losses in manpower and equipment for Russian troops.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy carried out one missile strike, 85 air strikes, and dropped 153 adjusted aerial bombs. In addition, the occupiers conducted more than 4,000 artillery attacks, including 130 using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), and used about 1,500 kamikaze drones. The enemy actively shelled the border settlements of Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.

The Ukrainian Defence Forces are responding effectively to threats. Aviation, missile forces and artillery struck strategically important enemy targets, including a drone control centre, an ammunition depot, four personnel concentrations, air defence systems, artillery positions and other critical targets.

In the Kharkiv region, the enemy suffered losses in the battles near Vovchansk and Starytsia, as well as in the Kupyansk sector, where the occupiers’ attacks stopped near the settlements of Holubivka, Pishchane and Lozova. In the Lyman sector, 23 attacks were repelled, and in the Kramatorsk sector, two attacks were repelled near Chasovyi Yar and Predtechyn.

The highest activity of Russian troops was observed in the Pokrovske direction, where they made 55 attempts to break through near Myrolyubivka, Krutyi Yar and Novotoretske. The main efforts were directed towards the areas of Selidove and Promin. In the Kurakhove sector, 20 enemy attacks were repelled, as they tried to advance near Novodmytrivka and Zoryane.

Ukrainian Armed Forces operations are ongoing, and Ukrainian forces continue to hold their positions and destroy enemy targets, particularly in strategically important areas in the active combat zone.
