The Russian Federation is preparing additional reserves for a possible intensification of hostilities at the frontline as early as May 2025. This was announced by Andriy Kovalenko, head of the National Security and Defence Council’s Disinformation Counteraction Centre, on his Telegram channel.
According to Kovalenko, the Kremlin plans to intensify military operations using a new conscription of conscripts. “Russia is preparing reserves for another attempt to make a breakthrough at the front in May,” he said.
Earlier it became known that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin announced the largest spring conscription in 14 years. It is planned to recruit 160,000 recruits who can be used to replenish losses at the front.
