Russian occupants have advanced in several areas in Kharkiv, Luhansk and Donetsk regions. This was reported by the DeepState analytical project on the night of Tuesday, 21 January.
Details of the occupiers’ advance
- Donetsk region: Successes were recorded near the settlements of Velyka Novosilka, Uspenivka and Slovianka.
- Luhansk region: Russian troops advanced in the area of Nadiya village.
- Kharkiv region: Advancement was recorded in the area of Dvorichna village.
Attacks near Pokrovsk
According to Ukraine’s General Staff, half of the attacks by Russian troops on Monday evening took place in the area of Pokrovsk, indicating that active hostilities continued in that area.
The situation at the front remains difficult, and Russian troops are trying to exploit any weaknesses in Ukrainian defence to advance. At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to hold back the enemy’s offensive, inflicting significant losses on them.
