On the night of 22 January, Ukraine’s defence forces continued to heroically resist the Russian invasion. Successful counterattacks helped to push back the occupiers near the towns of Shevchenko and Udachne. At the same time, according to DeepState, Russian troops advanced in other areas of Donetsk region.
In particular, the enemy has entrenched itself in Velyka Novosilka, as well as near the settlements of Vozdvyzhenka, Slovianka and Sribne. Thus, the fighting remains intense, and the front line is shifting in different directions.
The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to strike at the enemy, restraining its advance.
