Russian troops are actively trying to cross the Pokrovsk-Kostiantynivka road, which is creating a dangerous situation in this area. This was stated on television by the spokesman for the Khortytsia operational and strategic grouping of troops, Viktor Tregubov.
“It (the situation – ed.) is dangerous, they are trying to cross it (the Pokrovsk-Kostiantynivka road – ed.). They are actively attacking in all directions. Earlier, Russians were more actively attempting to bypass Pokrovsk from the western side, but now the focus has shifted a little to the east of the city, to the Pokrovsk-Kostiantynivka road, which is a little further from the city, at least the part of it where they are trying to break through,” Tregubov said.
The most active directions are Pokrovske, Toretske, Novopavlivske, as well as Lyman and Kramatorsk. Despite the fact that the Siverskyi and Kharkiv directions are less active, none of them can be considered secondary. According to Tregubov, Russian troops are trying to attack wherever they can and are ready to continue their offensive.
The occupiers are also intensifying shelling in the Liman sector, trying to regain lost ground. Their tactical goal is to reach the administrative borders of Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
“It is clear that they will pursue this goal until they suffer sufficient losses to make it impossible,” Tregubov said.
