Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi has given a clear task to increase the capability to detect and destroy enemy drones that Russians launch against Ukrainian cities on a daily basis. He made the announcement on his Facebook page.

During the working meeting, Syrskyi identified a key priority – scaling up effective systems and increasing the number of interceptor UAVs that are already proving effective at the front and in the rear.

“We must take a comprehensive approach, using all available components. The enemy is changing the tactics and technical characteristics of its “Shaheds”, so we must be flexible and technologically ready,” the general stressed.

He stressed that effective work to neutralise drones is critical to protecting civilian lives, preserving critical infrastructure and the economic stability of the state.

The Commander-in-Chief thanked all those involved in the development, implementation and scaling of counter-drone solutions, as well as training of operators for their effective use.
