On 29 November, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi made a working visit to Donetsk region, in particular to the Pokrovske and Kurakhove directions. He announced this on his Telegram channel.
The main purpose of the trip
The general personally visited units and subdivisions that are directly involved in combat operations. Syrskyi stressed that the main purpose of his visit was to:
- Communication with commanders in the field;
- Solving problematic issues;
- Providing comprehensive assistance to the divisions.
Decisions made
Following the meeting, the Commander-in-Chief made a number of decisions, including:
- Strengthening the units with reserves;
- Provision of additional ammunition;
- Provision of weapons and military equipment.
Situation at the frontline
Syrskyi stressed that Ukrainian forces continue to hold back Russian offensives and inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment.
“I am grateful to our soldiers for their resilience and bravery in the fight against the Russian aggressor,” he said.
This trip demonstrates the readiness of the military command to respond quickly to the needs on the front line, which is an important element in ensuring effective resistance to the enemy.
