Over the past three weeks, the Houthis have fired at least 15 rockets into Israel, targeting the largest cities – Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. This blatant aggression, supported by Iranian supervisors, has already provoked a serious response, The Jerusalem Post writes .

Israel has struck at key Houthi infrastructure, including the port of Hodeidah and Sanaa International Airport, demonstrating its readiness to resolutely defend its borders. However, the Houthis do not draw conclusions from historical lessons and continue to play a risky game in favour of Iran.

Experts note that this path could have catastrophic consequences for the movement. Relations with Iran, which is facing internal problems such as financial crises and growing protests, could become a weak point for the Houthis. Relying on an unstable ally only increases their vulnerability.

Israel has made it clear that each new missile will provoke an even more powerful response. Strikes on Yemen’s infrastructure are aimed at weakening the Houthis’ military and economic capabilities.

After successful Israeli operations against Hezbollah, which suffered significant losses, the Houthis risk becoming the next victims of their own ambitions.

Israeli citizens demonstrate unity in the face of threats from Gaza, Lebanon and Yemen. “The Houthis must understand that further escalation will only bring them destruction,” military experts comment.

Time is not yet lost. The Houthis can choose the path of diplomacy, focus on the welfare of their people and abandon their role as Iran’s puppet. However, if they continue on their course of aggression, the consequences will be swift and inexorable.
