On the night of 3 December, Russian troops attacked Ukraine using 28 drones, including Shahed and other types of attack drones. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
Attack routes
The drones were launched from the territories of Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk, Orel and Millerovo. The attacks covered several regions, but thanks to the work of air defence forces, 22 enemy drones were eliminated.
Air defence results
Drones were destroyed in such regions:
- Kyiv,
- Chernihivska,
- Vinnytsia,
- Khmelnytsky,
- Zhytomyrska,
- Sumy,
- Odesa,
- Mykolaivska,
- Dnipropetrovska oblast.
One drone was lost in the area, and two more left Ukrainian airspace, heading towards Belarus and the temporarily occupied territories.
Impact and consequences
The strikes caused several hits to critical infrastructure in Ternopil and Rivne regions. Information on the extent of the damage and possible casualties is being updated.
Ukrainian forces continue to control the situation and respond quickly to air threats, ensuring the protection of civilians and infrastructure.
