On Saturday night, Russian troops carried out a massive air attack on the territory of Ukraine, launching 70 drones of various types. Thanks to the coordinated work of the Ukrainian Air Force, mobile fire groups and electronic warfare equipment, all enemy drones were destroyed or neutralised.

According to the military, Russian Shahed-136/131 and imitator drones attacked Ukraine from the directions of Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia and Chauda in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups were deployed to repel the attack.

As of 09:00, 33 Shahed attack drones and other drones were officially confirmed downed in Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions. Another 37 imitator drones were neutralised by electronic warfare without any negative consequences.

Russia continues its tactics of massive drone attacks, but Ukraine’s air defence system and electronic warfare capabilities are becoming more effective. The military leadership emphasises that air defence and mobile groups across the country are being reinforced. The Ukrainian defence forces are ready for new challenges and continue to defend the sky.
