Over the past day, 14 January, 170 combat engagements took place at the frontline. Almost half of them were recorded in the Pokrovsk sector, where the aggressor carried out 70 assault and offensive actions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

Pokrovsky direction

Ukrainian defence forces stopped the enemy in the areas of Yantarne, Novotoretske, Promin, Zelene, Novyi Trud, Chunyshyno, Zvirove, Uspenivka, Novoandriivka, Nadiyivka, Petropavlivka and Shevchenko.

Other areas

• Kharkiv sector: two enemy attacks in the area of Vovchansk.
• Kupyansk sector: five attacks near Nova Kruhliakivka and Tabaivka.
• Liman sector: 17 attacks near Kopanky, Hrekivka, Novoyehorivka and other localities.
• Northern sector: 14 attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka, Verkhnekamianske and Ivano-Daryivka.
• Kramatorsk sector: 14 engagements in the areas of Chasovyi Yar, Stupochky and Predtechyne.
• Toretsk sector: eight attacks near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.
• Novopavlivka sector: eight attacks near Kostiantynopil, Velyka Novosilka and Neskuchne.

Ukrainian defenders continue to successfully repel enemy attempts to break through the defences. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasises that the aggressor is suffering significant losses and is not achieving its goals.
