The Ukrainian military continues its targeted fight against Russian aggression. On 21 January, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a series of successful strikes on strategic targets in Russia and the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk region.

For the second time in a week, Special Operations Forces drones attacked the Liskinsk oil depot in Voronezh Oblast. The attack on the tanks with fuel and lubricants used to supply Russian troops resulted in large-scale fires. According to the General Staff, the facility belongs to one of Russia’s largest companies, Rosneft.

Ukrainian troops also hit an aircraft factory in the Smolensk region, where combat aircraft are manufactured and modernised. The explosions on the territory of the enterprise indicate significant material damage to the aggressor.

Another strike was carried out on the command post of the 29th Combined Arms Army of the Russian Federation in the temporarily occupied Volnovakha, Donetsk region. Explosions and smoke were observed in the area of the target.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasises that all strikes are part of strategic combat operations aimed at reducing the enemy’s combat potential and increasing the effect of sanctions pressure. The operations will continue until Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine is completely stopped. The results of the attacks are currently being clarified.
