Over the past day, 158 combat engagements took place in the frontline. Ukrainian defenders delivered powerful strikes against the occupiers, hitting 10 areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, 1 air defence system, and 2 important enemy targets. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on 30 January.
Large-scale enemy attacks
During the day, the Russian army inflicted:
- 43 air strikes (96 guided bombs),
- 2120 strikes by kamikaze drones,
- 5,300 artillery attacks, including 90 from MLRS.
The settlements of Basivka, Veselivka, Novomykolaivka, Mala Korchakivka, Vysoka Yaruga, Kostyantynivka, Bilytske, Odradne, Novopavlivka, Zaporizke and others were hit.
Attacks and countermeasures in key areas
- Kupyansk direction – 10 attacks.
- Liman direction – 26 attacks.
- In theKramatorsk sector, there were 10 combat engagements.
- Toretsk direction – 15 attacks.
- ThePokrovsk sector saw 72 enemy assault and offensive actions, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully repelled.
- Novopavlivka direction – 6 attacks.
- Kursk operational area – 8 attacks, 19 air strikes, 426 artillery shellings.
The enemy intensified drone strikes and artillery fire in the Huliaypillia, Orikhiv and Prydniprovskyi sectors.
The situation remains stable in the Volyn and Polissya sectors, and no strike groups have been detected.
