The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has codified and approved for use in the Defence Forces the latest DODGER unmanned ground robotic system, manufactured by Ukrainian gunsmiths based on combat experience at the front, the Ministry of Defence press service reports.

“The DODGER ground robot is multifunctional and can be used to solve a wide range of logistical tasks, including evacuating the wounded from the battlefield, as well as for rapid mine clearance of certain areas,” the agency said.

Despite its compact size and low silhouette, DODGER is capable of carrying up to 250 kg of payload. In addition, the robot has armoured body protection, which allows it to withstand firearms threats such as bullets and fragments.

The introduction of DODGER is expected to increase the mobility and efficiency of units on the front line.
