The Ukrainian Defence Forces are actively conducting offensive operations in the Kursk region, in particular in the areas of Mala Loknya, Sverdlikove and Leonidovka. This was reported by DeepState analysts on Sunday, 5 January.
The offensive continues
Ukrainian troops continue their assault operations in several areas, keeping the details of the operation secret. “We will refrain from commenting for now. We need to wait for the result, as the fighting is ongoing,” analysts said.
At the same time, DeepState criticises the leaks of information about the Armed Forces’ plans published on social media by a blogger who is abroad. “The only question is why the hell does a blogger from Spain announce the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 48 hours, indicating the exact location of the assault and almost the exact time?” the statement said.
Information warfare
Russian troops are trying to use the information vacuum to create the impression of their superiority. In particular, the enemy is actively disseminating video footage of the alleged destruction of Ukrainian equipment near Martynivka.
“The enemy’s media is building a sense of victory and taking many times more credit for it. However, Russian troops have been unable to regain control of their territory in the Kursk region for six months now,” analysts say.
DeepState urges Ukrainians not to fall for information provocations and avoid hostile resources. “We recommend keeping a cool head and not reacting to emotional swings,” the experts emphasise.
It should be noted that the Ukrainian Defence Forces continue to take active action on the territory that the Russian side considers its own. This operation demonstrates Ukraine’s readiness to respond to aggression and actively change the situation at the front.
The final results of the operation will be known after the fighting is over, but the successful actions of the Ukrainian army once again demonstrate its determination and professionalism in the fight for territorial integrity.
