On the night of 3 March, Russia launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine using 83 Shahed attack drones and various types of simulator drones. The Ukrainian Air Force, together with electronic warfare and mobile fire groups, successfully destroyed 46 enemy UAVs. Another 31 drones were lost without causing any damage. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a statement on Telegram.
The attack was carried out from the directions of Orel, Kursk, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. The highest activity of enemy drones was recorded over Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy and Dnipro regions.
According to preliminary information, the strikes caused damage to civilian and critical infrastructure in some regions, including Kharkiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia. The information is being updated.
