On 5 October, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported successful strikes by Ukrainian forces on three key command posts of Russian troops. The enemy targets were hit using modern Storm Shadow missiles and GMLRS rockets.

According to the military department, the command posts of the 35th and 27th separate motorised rifle brigades, as well as one of the command posts of the 2nd Combined Arms Army of the Russian Armed Forces, have been hit in recent days. “The results of the strikes are being clarified,” the General Staff noted.

This combat operation was carried out by units of the Air Force and the Missile and Artillery Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, working in close cooperation with other components of the Defence Forces. The successful strikes demonstrate the growing effectiveness of the Ukrainian military in planning and conducting complex operations, which underscores their ability to destroy important enemy targets.

Remaining on the frontline, Ukrainian forces continue to demonstrate determination and professionalism in the fight for their territorial integrity.
