зсу

Ukraine’s defence forces have once again demonstrated their effectiveness by neutralising 51 enemy drones during a massive attack by Russian troops. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force on its official Telegram channel.

The attack began in the evening of 18 November at 19:30. The aggressor used 87 Shahed and other unidentified models of attack drones launched from the areas of Kursk, Orel and the temporarily occupied Crimea.

Aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare (EW) units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and other units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces were engaged in the fight against air targets.

The downing of enemy drones was confirmed in nine regions: Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv.

However, as a result of the countermeasures, another 30 drones were lost from radar in different regions. One drone remains in Ukrainian airspace, and its destruction is a matter of time. Combat work continues.
