The Ukrainian military will receive the latest laser weapon to destroy enemy drones and aircraft. This is the Tryzub system, which was created by domestic developers in just a few months. This was announced on 8 February by the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Vadym Sukharevskyi, in an interview with Pressing.

According to him, this development is being successfully tested and is capable of burning through metal, destroying Russian “chessmen”, reconnaissance drones and even aircraft.

“I am supporting this project so that we can effectively use technological solutions to shoot down enemy drones and ensure the defence of strategic facilities and settlements. We give manufacturers a vector for the development of such solutions,” Sukharevsky said.

He emphasised that Tryzub is another step towards Ukraine’s transformation into a technological leader in the military sphere.
