On 24 January, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported another successful strike by the Ukrainian military against strategic targets in Russia. Drones and other weapons were used to attack important enterprises in the cities of Ryazan and Bryansk, which are directly related to the supply of resources for the Russian army.

The strikes resulted in fires at oil refineries, including at the production facilities of the Ryazan Oil Refining Company and at the Ryazan oil pumping station. In addition, Ukrainian forces hit the Kremniy El plant in Bryansk, one of the key enterprises in Russia’s microelectronics industry. This plant produces microchips for Russia’s strategic weapons systems, such as Topol-M and Bulava missiles, S-300 and S-400 anti-aircraft missiles, and for combat aircraft avionics.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stressed that attacks on Russian targets will continue, aimed at destroying the infrastructure that supports the Russian occupation army. The military said that such actions would continue until Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine is completely stopped.
