Ukrainian troops repel 24 enemy attacks in the Pokrovsk sector

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defence Forces continued to successfully repel the enemy’s assault and offensive actions. Ukrainian aviation, missile forces and artillery hit 19 areas where enemy personnel and equipment were concentrated, destroying one control centre, an artillery vehicle and an electronic warfare station of the Russian invaders. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a morning briefing on 6 February.

Over the past day, 90 combat engagements were registered in the frontline. In particular:

In the Kharkiv sector, Ukrainian troops repelled four enemy attacks near Vovchansk and Kozacha Lopan.
In the Kupiansk sector, eight occupants’ attacks took place in the areas of Zahryzove, Petropavlivka, Pishchane and Nova Kruhliakivka.
In the Liman sector, the enemy tried to advance 11 times near Novolyubivka, Kopanky, Zelenyi Hai, Hrekivka, Novoyehorivka, Yampolivka, Kolodyazy and Torske.
In the Siverskyi sector, Russians attacked Ukrainian positions nine times in the areas of Spirne, Siversk and Verkhnekamianske.
In the Kramatorsk sector, three firefights were registered in the areas of Chasovyi Yar and Stupochky.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out nine attacks near Toretsk, Diliyivka and Shcherbynivka.
The most intense fighting was recorded in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian troops stopped 24 enemy assault and offensive attacks in the areas of Vodiane Druha, Yelizavetivka, Tarasivka, Udachne, Nadiyivka, Promin, Pishchane, Dachne and Ulakly.
In the Novopavlivka sector, three enemy attacks were repelled near Kostiantynivske.
In the Huliaypillia sector, two occupants’ attacks were registered in the direction of Novopil.
In the Kursk region, Ukrainian troops repelled nine enemy attacks.

In addition, during the day, Russian troops carried out 54 air strikes, using 78 guided bombs, and fired 415 artillery shells at Ukrainian troops’ positions and settlements. The situation remains tense, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to successfully hold the line and inflict losses on the enemy.
