President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that if intelligence sharing with the United States is terminated, Ukraine will not be able to compensate for this loss on its own. He said this during a conversation with journalists after talks with German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius.

“During massive attacks, we use intelligence from the US and European partners to save lives – in particular, from ballistic missile attacks. They are trying to hit civilians. We will not be able to compensate for the absence of this data,” the Head of State stressed.

The President added that highly accurate and timely information is a key element of successful defence, especially in the context of escalating missile attacks by Russia.

Zelenskyy’s statement came amid concerns about political discussions in the United States that could affect the future scope of support for Ukraine, particularly in the intelligence sphere.
