On the same day, the IDF confirmed the killing of Ahmad Aish Salameh al-Hashash, the commander of Islamic Jihad’s missile units, in the Khan Yunis area of the southern Gaza Strip. Al-Hashash, known for his expertise in rocket technology, was responsible for launching rockets from the “humanitarian zone” in southern Gaza, from which systematic attacks on Israel were launched.
