On the night of 26 October, at least ten Russian Shahed-type kamikaze drones raided Belarus from Ukraine. According to TimeUkraIneisrael , citing the telegram channel of theBelaruski Gayunmonitoring group, the drones flew through the Slavutich-Pripyat “transit corridor” in an attempt to reach Bragin and Pinsk in the southwestern part of the country.

The first drone entered the airspace of Belarus at 02:51, following a route from Slavutych towards Chernobyl. Subsequent activities were recorded at 04:34, 04:43, 05:19, 06:02 and 06:05. Three more drones moving towards Belarus were recorded at 03:20, 06:37 and 09:38, but their passage was not confirmed.

In addition, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that one of the UAVs that entered the airspace of Belarus did not return to Ukraine, indicating that it was lost in the neighbouring country.

It is important to note that during this incident, Belarusian aviation did not take off to respond to the potential threat, which raises additional questions about their preparedness for possible attacks.

Given these developments, the international community will be closely monitoring the situation at the border, as this incident may indicate a further escalation of the conflict and increased tensions in the region.
