Friday, 15 November 2024, is the 406th day of Israel’s large-scale Iron Sword war against terrorist groups in Gaza, Judea and Samaria, Lebanon and Syria. Military operations include ground combat, air strikes and missile attacks. IDF forces continue to be active in southern Lebanon, while the Israeli Air Force strikes numerous targets. The IDF spokesperson, Colonel Avichai Edrai, has issued a warning to residents of the Haret Kreik and Hadas Beirut neighbourhoods in Dahiya, south of Beirut, to immediately evacuate at least 500 metres from the designated targets to be attacked.

“Tzeva Adom” sirens go off, warning of rocket attacks in the settlements of Sasa and Dovev on the border with Lebanon. Sources in Gaza report the death of one person as a result of an Israeli airstrike in the Khirbet al-Adas area near Rafah. IDF artillery shelling also continues north of Nuseirat and in the centre of the Strip. Lebanese sources report the destruction of a house in the Tayouneh neighbourhood of Beirut as a result of an Israeli airstrike.

The IDF announces the elimination of one of the commanders of the Islamic Jihad, al-Qaman Abd al-Salam Khalil Anbar, in Gaza. He was responsible for shelling Israeli territory and producing ammunition. In addition to him, several other Islamic Jihad rocket launchers were killed. In the area of Jabalia and Beit Lahiya, the forces of the 162nd Division destroyed terrorist groups and large stockpiles of weapons. In Rafiakha, the 143rd Gaza Division eliminated several terrorists with the support of aviation. The alarm was also sounded in Haifa, Krayot and Acre. A rocket attack from Lebanon injured three foreign workers, citizens of China.

Over the past 24 hours, the Israeli Air Force has attacked more than 120 Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, including weapons depots, headquarters and rocket launchers. Raduan units suffered serious losses in Nabatiyeh. Units of the 36th, 91st and 146th Divisions continue to destroy Hizbullah’s infrastructure in southern Lebanon.
