21 November 2024, Thursday, marks the 412th day of the Iron Swords war, which Israel is waging against terrorist organisations in Gaza, Judea and Samaria, Lebanon and Syria. This was reported by Time Ukraine Israel, citing Newsru.co.il.
The situation in Lebanon and Gaza
The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) are active in southern Lebanon. The IDF continues operations in Gaza and other territories, including Judea and Samaria. Hezbollah militants and other Iranian proxies continue to fire on Israeli territory, threatening the civilian population.
Chronology of events (21.11.2024)
- 16:00 – The IDF carried out a third wave of strikes against targets in southern Beirut (Dahiya district). Hezbollah headquarters and other military infrastructure were attacked.
- 15:00 – According to Lebanese sources, the Israeli Air Force strikes targets in Burj al-Shamal, near Tirah in southern Lebanon.
- 14:00 – The second wave of attacks in the Dahiya area ends, destroying Hezbollah facilities. The IDF stresses that Hezbollah is using civilian areas for military infrastructure. An alert has been issued in settlements in the Upper Galilee near the border with Lebanon.
- 13:00 – Approximately 15 rockets were fired from Lebanon, some of which were intercepted, but others landed in Israeli territory. A shelling in Nagariya killed 27-year-old Brian Director from Ma’alot Tarshikha.
- 12:00 – The Tzeva Adom alarm in Kiryat Shmona and the surrounding area signals another shelling. The Israeli Ministry of Health reports that 4,456 people have died in Gaza since the start of hostilities in October 2023.
- 11:00 – Alarms are heard again in Nagariya. A man was killed and several other people were injured in a rocket attack.

- 02:00 – IAF strikes buildings in southern Beirut. Shelling continues in Gaza.
