Thursday, 28 November 2024. The Iron Swords war, which Israel launched on 7 October 2023 against terrorist organisations in Gaza, Judea, Samaria, Lebanon and Syria, is in its 419th day. This was reported by Time Ukraine Israel, citing Newsru.co.il.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) continues to control the situation in southern Lebanon. Numerous ceasefire violations were recorded, to which Israel responded with attacks on military targets. In the Gaza Strip, operations in Jabalya and Beit Lahiya have been expanded, focused on the destruction of terrorist cells. Operations are also underway in Judea and Samaria.

The IDF began active shelling of targets in Jabaliya, Beit Lahiya and Nusairat. In particular, they hit buildings used by terrorists as weapons caches.
Several powerful explosions caused by artillery strikes were recorded in Nusairat.
07:00
In southern Lebanon, Israeli artillery fired at positions near Yarun. According to Lebanese sources, two shells were fired. The IDF has not yet commented on the situation.
Residents of ten Lebanese villages have been warned of a temporary ban on returning to their homes.
09:00-11:00
In Gaza, IDF quadcopters attack targets in the centre of Nuseirat and near Khan Younis. The strikes resulted in deaths and injuries.
Lebanese sources report Israeli drone strikes in Markaba and Ta’ba, causing casualties.
12:00-14:00
The IDF’s 401st Brigade conducts operations in Jabaliya. During one of them, a terrorist preparing to launch rockets is killed. The strike also destroyed a weapons cache.
In Ramallah and al-Bir, Israeli forces detain suspected terrorists.
15:00-16:00
In Beit Lahiya, the IDF attacked targets on Ar-Rajah Street. At the same time, in southern Lebanon, the Israeli Air Force neutralised a Hezbollah terrorist facility that stored medium-range missiles.
The situation in Lebanon
The Israeli Defence Forces continue to exercise active control over the southern regions of Lebanon, responding to violations by Hezbollah. Recently, there was shelling of positions in Taiba, Kfar Shuba and Yarun. Despite the difficult conditions, the IDF is deterring terrorist activity in the region.
The struggle in the Gaza Strip
Israeli forces are focused on neutralising terrorist cells that use densely built-up areas to hide weapons and prepare attacks. The IDF is making efforts to minimise civilian casualties, but terrorists deliberately place facilities in close proximity to residential areas.
The situation remains tense. Israel demonstrates its readiness for a long-term fight against terrorism on all fronts, including in the Gaza Strip, Lebanon and Judea. The Armed Forces are working in difficult conditions, countering the challenges with the use of modern technologies and strategies.
