The Ukrainian Defence Forces continue to hold back the Russian invaders’ offensive on numerous frontlines. According to the Time Ukraine Israel portal, citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 88 combat engagements have been recorded since the beginning of the day. The enemy is actively using aviation, including guided aerial bombs, and shelling the positions of our troops in the east and south of the country. The fiercest fighting continues in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove sectors.
Attacks in the north and east
Occupants continue to shell civilian settlements in Chernihiv and Sumy regions. The areas of Yablunivka, Sydorivka, Oleksandriya, Velyka Pysarivka, Volfyno (Sumy region), Lemishchyno (Kharkiv region) and Leonivka (Chernihiv region) were hit.
In the Kharkiv sector, our troops successfully repelled attacks near Vovchansk and Starytsia. In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy made five assault attempts, which were stopped near Zahryzove, Kucherivka, Kruhliakivka and Zelenyi Hai.
Escalation in the east
Six combat engagements were recorded in the Liman sector, one of which is still ongoing. Fierce fighting continues in the areas of Cherneshchyna, Zarichne and Terny.
The Kramatorsk sector is suffering from intense air strikes: the enemy dropped four unmanned aerial vehicles near Chervone.
In the Toretsk sector, the invaders, supported by aviation, attacked Ukrainian positions near Toretsk four times and dropped two bombs near Kostiantynivka.
Activity in the south
Particularly fierce fighting continues in the Pokrovsk sector: today alone, our defenders repelled 15 attacks in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Krutyi Yar, Krasniy Yar, Liskivka and other localities.
The enemy made 12 attacks in the Kurakhove sector, nine of which were successfully repelled by Ukrainian troops. Three more battles are taking place in the areas of Berestky, Maksymilianivka and Yelizavetivka.
In the Vremivsk sector, the occupants made 20 attempts to storm the area, including near Trudove, Rozdolne and Velyka Novosilka. Four attacks are still ongoing.
Relative calm
The enemy did not conduct any active hostilities in the Orikhivske, Huliaypillia and Siversk sectors today.
The Ukrainian Defence Forces continue to hold the line heroically, preventing the enemy from breaking through the defence line. Each repelled attack brings our victory closer.
