Ukrainian defenders continue to fight in various parts of the frontline, despite intense attacks by the occupiers. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 118 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day, with the greatest activity of Russian troops observed in the Pokrovske, Kurakhove and Vremivske directions, where our soldiers are stopping the enemy and destroying its offensive plans, Time Ukraine Israel reports.
Attacks and shelling in the north-east
During the day, Russian artillery struck a number of settlements in Sumy, Chernihiv and Kharkiv regions, including Bleshnya, Oleksandria, Tymofiivka, Turya, Obody, Zhuravka. In addition, four air strikes were recorded in the Kursk region, accompanied by the dropping of guided aerial bombs. Ukrainian forces in this area have successfully repelled 19 enemy attacks.
In the Kharkiv sector, two assault attempts took place near Vovchansk, while in the Kupyansk sector, a firefight took place in the area of Zelenyi Hai, where the enemy is trying to advance towards Ukrainian positions.
Increased activity in the east
In the Liman sector, the intensity of enemy attacks increased to 12, in particular in the areas of Hrekivka, Novoyehorivka, Makiivka, Torske and Terny, where fierce fighting continues. The enemy also carried out an air strike on Ivanivka. In the Siversk sector, air strikes with guided bombs were registered in the areas of Bilohorivka, Zakitne and Siversk.
In the Kramatorsk area, Ukrainian defenders are holding back an enemy attack near Stupochky, and in the Toretsk sector, three attacks were recorded near Toretsk, of which two have already been repelled, while one is still ongoing.
Large-scale attacks in the Pokrovske direction
The Pokrovsk sector remains the hottest spot in today’s fighting: 29 attacks of varying intensity were registered in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Sukhyi Yar, Pustynka, Hryhorivka, Dachenske, Petrivka and Pushkine, five of which are still ongoing.
Kurakhove and Vremivsk directions: new attacks and offensive attempts
The situation remains tense in the Kurakhove sector, where eleven hostile attacks were repelled near Berestky, Sontsivka, Novodmytrivka, Kurakhove, Katerynivka, Romanivka and Antonivka, while ten more battles are ongoing.
In the Vremivsk sector, the occupants are attacking Ukrainian positions in the areas of Trudove, Kostiantynopolske, Rozlyv, Rozdolne, Sukhi Yaliv and Novodarivka. Fourteen attacks were repelled, nine are still ongoing. The enemy also conducted air strikes in the areas of Velyka Novosilka and Novyi Komar.
Confrontation on the Dnipro direction
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled three assault attempts. Kozatske came under an air strike.
In other parts of the frontline, shelling and air strikes continue, targeting Ukrainian troops’ positions and populated areas.
Ukrainian forces continue to deplete the enemy both on the front line and in the rear, demonstrating their steadfastness and resilience in the confrontation with the aggressor.
