The Israeli army (IDF) has reported a number of successful operations against Hezbollah militants in South Lebanon. In recent days, the 188th Brigade, operating under the command of the 36th Division, has carried out a series of localised ground raids based on accurate intelligence information.

In a series of coordinated actions, a central underground command post and a terrorist tunnel belonging to Hezbollah were destroyed. Targeted attacks were effective in eliminating critical militant infrastructure, including dozens of weapons depots and several tunnel mines used to launch attacks on Israeli territory.

The brigade’s engineer troops discovered a complex underground route connecting two tunnel mines in the combat zone. Long-term shelters, weapons and documents belonging to terrorists were found in the mines. The military, in cooperation with an engineering unit of the Northern Command, blocked access to these facilities.

One of the airstrikes eliminated Hezbollah’s regional command centre, which had been actively used to coordinate attacks on northern Israel in recent months. At the time of the strike, there were four terrorists in the command centre, who were eliminated.

These operations underscore the IDF’s determination to continue to take action against the threats posed by Hezbollah and other terrorist groups targeting Israel’s security.
