The situation on the frontline remains difficult, the enemy continues to persistently attack the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, despite the significant losses it suffers every day. In total, 84 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day. This was reported by the news portal TimeUkraineIsrael with reference to the General Staff of Ukraine.
Shelling and air strikes on the border regions
Today, the border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions suffered from enemy artillery shelling and air strikes. Among the affected settlements are Khrinivka, Vorobyevka, Velyka Berizka, Stepanivka and others. The enemy also carried out air strikes on the areas of Stepne, Bilovody, Basivka and Yunakivka, dropping 12 bombs on Sumy region.
Air strikes on Kursk region: unexpected enemy losses
The enemy also conducted air strikes on its own territory. According to operational information, 15 air strikes were recorded today in the Kursk region, during which the Russian military used 18 air bombs. These strikes have caused concern among the Russian command and may indicate serious problems with the coordination of enemy forces.
Kharkiv and Kupiansk sectors: intense fighting
In the Kharkiv sector, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled two assault attempts near Vovchansk. In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy launched 13 attacks on Ukrainian troops’ positions, trying to break through in the areas of Kindrashivka, Kolisnykivka, Lozova and others. Fighting is still ongoing in six areas in this sector, the situation is under control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Liman and Kramatorsk directions: attacks with air support
In the Liman sector, the enemy made nine attacks on Ukrainian military positions near Cherneshchyna, Terny and Serebryanka. Near Kramatorsk, the occupants carried out two attacks with the support of army aviation in the area of Orikhovo-Vasylivka.
Toretsk and Pokrovsk sectors: intensification of hostilities
In the Toretsk sector, Russians tried to push Ukrainian units out near Shcherbynivka and New York. However, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled four attacks despite intense bombardment by the occupiers.
In the Pokrovsk sector, 15 enemy attempts to displace our forces in the areas of Myroliubivka, Krutyi Yar and Selydove were recorded. Ukrainian defence forces are holding back the attack, repelling ten attacks, and the fighting continues.
Fighting in the Kurakhove sector and the use of aviation in the southern areas
Fierce fighting continues in the Kurakhove sector, where the enemy made 19 attacks. Active hostilities are taking place near Novoselidivka, Novodmitrivka, Kurakhove and other localities. At the same time, in the Vremivsk and Huliaipil directions, the occupants dropped guided aerial bombs and launched unguided missiles in the areas of Velyka Novosilka and Mala Tokmachka.
Southern Sector: Stability in the Prydniprovia region
In the Prydniprovsky sector, the enemy tried to break through Ukrainian positions three times, but all attacks were unsuccessful. Our soldiers continue to hold steadfastly the defence.
