On Sunday, 3 November, a 57-year-old man who was seriously injured during a rocket attack on the city on 23 October died in a Na’ariya hospital. Initially, the patient’s condition was assessed as “serious but stable”, but doctors were unable to save his life. This is reported by the news portal TimeUkraineIsrael with reference to Israelinfo.
At the time of the incident, the man was on the Na’ariya promenade when a Hizbullah rocket was destroyed over the city. Shrapnel fell on the city, and one of them hit him in the head.
The hospital reported that the patient with a severe head injury underwent several urgent surgeries, but unfortunately, all efforts proved to be ineffective.
Over the past ten days, 11 people have been killed by Hezbollah rocket attacks. In particular, two young men were killed on 25 October when a rocket hit a supermarket in Majdal Qrum. Also, an 80-year-old repatriate was killed in a kibbutz hostel for the elderly near Na’ariya. An elderly farmer and four Thai workers were killed in a rocket attack on Metula on 31 October, and on the same day, two oil farmers were killed by a rocket explosion in the vicinity of Shfaram.
The intensity of rocket attacks in the North increased fivefold in October compared to the previous 11 months of the war. These data indicate a growing threat to civilians in the region, highlighting the seriousness of the situation and the need for urgent security measures.
