The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) continue to conduct targeted ground raids in southern Lebanon, demonstrating the results of precision intelligence. With the participation of the 205th Reserve Brigade under the command of the 146th Division, Israeli troops conducted limited local operations, uncovering numerous means of conducting terrorist activities.
The servicemen found and neutralised underground terrorist infrastructures, observation posts and weapons caches in private households in one of the settlements. Dozens of terrorists were eliminated as a result of close combat and air strikes. In particular, missile launchers ready for launch were found.
In addition, a vehicle containing AK-47 assault rifles, ammunition, military equipment and bulletproof vests was found among civilian buildings. The entire arsenal was confiscated.
These operations confirm the seriousness of the threat Israel faces in the region and demonstrate its determination to protect its security. Israel’s activities in southern Lebanon continue to draw international attention and debate on the methods and morality of such operations.
