In the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, the invaders have set up special boxes for anonymous denunciations in educational institutions. Students are urged to report their classmates who are disloyal to the occupation authorities, as well as their parents. These actions are covered by false slogans of “fighting extremism”, which aim to intimidate children and force them to oppose their own citizens. All of this is happening under pressure and aggressive propaganda aimed at creating a culture of denunciation among young people. This was reported by Time Ukraine Israel, citing the National Resistance Centre.
According to the National Resistance Centre, schools that have implemented this practice are obliged to pass on all anonymous reports to the Russian Federal Security Service (FSS). In addition, school administrations are actively compiling lists of students who are considered “disloyal” and passing them on to the occupation administrations, which leads to increased repression and persecution.
In response to these criminal actions, the National Resistance Centre calls on Ukrainians to report the location of enemy troops and equipment, which will allow the aggressors to be held accountable for their crimes.
