Kyiv, Solomianskyi district. Following a nighttime attack by Russian forces that caused destruction in the heart of the capital, the Kyiv City Military Administration published footage of the aftermath of the strike, showing the extent of damage to civilian infrastructure. The affected buildings include a multi-storey residential building and a kindergarten.
Nine people were wounded in the attack, including adults and children. The victims were promptly hospitalised and are currently in stable condition. Due to the destruction, 18 people were evacuated from the building in need of immediate assistance and safety.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko stressed that the Kyiv City Administration is working to eliminate the consequences of the strike and provide assistance to the victims. “The enemy has once again shown its true face, targeting civilian infrastructure and places where children are protected and educated,” he stressed.
